History
PulseOMeter was founded early 2009 with the purpose of building an iPhone application for recording and managing training sessions.
After building the first prototype we realised, that the iPhone application alone would not be of any use without the right companions, i.e. a web-based application and a desktop application.
The fact that most device manufacturers ignore the Mac OS platform completely, made us want to fill this gap and provide serious athletes with a possibility to manage their training sessions on all platforms - meaning web, (Mac) desktop and mobile.
Team
Bernd Bächle - Founder
Bernd founded PulseOMeter wanting to manage his training sessions efficiently.
After years of frustration working with the available solutions for this task, he decided to build a product that would
understand the needs of serious athletes. This would go beyond the existing solutions that are only suitable for occasional
sportsmen. This decision was reinforced by the situation he found himself in after switching to the Mac platform.
Bernd has more than 7 years of experience as a software architect and consultant.
Rafael Otero - Product
Rafael joined PulseOMeter after it became clear that a mobile application alone would not be a solution to the underlying problem. With some free time on his hands he joined PulseOMeter right away to further define the product.
Rafael has more than 10 years of experience in IT management.
